Rafaqat Baig is a seasoned engineering professional with 20 years of experience. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from UET Lahore and an MBA.
His career spans 4 years in Pakistan's oil and gas sector, 4 years in the Middle East with Descon Engineering (UAE and Oman), and 12 years with Qatar Fertilizer Company (Qafco).
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Rafaqat is a dedicated social worker. Notably, he led a project to build a 12-room concrete building for a government girls' high school in his village, Bagh, Azad Kashmir, which was destroyed in the 2005 earthquake. This effort enabled over 200 female students to study in a proper facility.
Currently, he is planning community welfare programs to support poor, widowed, and orphaned women and girls through vocational training and other initiatives.
